TotalTech More ownership · fewer loose ends
ITMSS TIER 03 · OWN MORE
Support can fix the issue. Ownership carries it forward.
TotalTech is for organizations that want MGI to carry more than routine action. It adds greater relative priority, stronger continuity of operating context and documentation, proactive operational recommendations, deeper coordination, and more deliberate follow-through.
The work around the work
Your provider may solve tickets while your team still manages the environment.
TotalTech addresses the responsibility that sits between issues: the coordination, context, readiness, documentation, lifecycle attention, and follow-through that determine whether the next problem starts with momentum or another scramble.
Handoffs keep falling back
MGI, a software vendor, a carrier, and internal leadership may each own one piece — but the business still has to keep everyone moving.
Important context lives in memory
Credentials, dependencies, prior decisions, vendor contacts, and environment history are too important to remain scattered across people and inboxes.
Readiness is always postponed
Backup observations, restore questions, lifecycle decisions, and recurring operational weaknesses wait until a visible incident forces attention.
Closing is mistaken for finishing
The immediate symptom may be resolved while documentation, communication, ownership, and the next preventive decision remain incomplete.
More than another feature tier
TotalTech changes what MGI continues to carry.
The upgrade isn’t weaker-versus-stronger security. Every tier begins with the common baseline. TotalTech increases the depth of operating responsibility around priority, continuity, readiness, documentation, vendors, and the next informed decision.
Priority with context
Supported issues receive greater relative priority than lower tiers, paired with greater coordination and issue ownership rather than a response-time guarantee.
Continuity of knowledge
Stronger documentation and credential discipline help preserve the environment knowledge, service history, dependencies, and access context that future work may require.
Readiness and lifecycle attention
MGI carries more proactive backup-readiness activity, lifecycle observations, refresh considerations, and operational recommendations within the authorized role.
Coordination that stays engaged
When supported work crosses vendors, platforms, or internal roles, TotalTech adds deeper follow-through and greater continuity-oriented coordination around the issue.
What OWN MORE looks like
The immediate fix is only one part of the operating outcome.
TotalTech extends the active CoreTech role by carrying more context, coordination, readiness, and follow-through before, during, and after supported operating work.
A high-impact application issue crosses vendor boundaries
Authentication, connectivity, hosted infrastructure, and the application provider may all be part of the same interruption.
MGI valueThe business has less operational orchestration to carry while the relevant parties work through their respective responsibilities.
A routine restore request reveals a readiness concern
Restoring data and evaluating the broader continuity posture are related, but they aren’t the same service promise.
MGI valueThe relationship carries more of the operational learning forward without representing formal continuity planning or guaranteed recovery as included.
Aging infrastructure becomes a business decision
Lifecycle risk often spans technical condition, vendor support, capacity, operational timing, and budget authority.
MGI valueA deferred technology condition can become an informed decision before urgency removes the business’s options.
The ownership dividend
The environment should retain more of what the relationship learns.
Greater ownership doesn’t mean MGI becomes the business decision-maker. It means more of the operational continuity — what’s known, who’s involved, what needs attention, and what should happen next — remains inside the managed relationship.
TotalTech isn’t more tools for the sake of more tools. It’s more of the operational continuity those tools are supposed to support.
-
01
Known
Supported systems, identities, vendors, credentials, and dependencies form a more deliberate operating picture.
-
02
Coordinated
The right parties can be connected around the supported issue without the customer carrying every technical handoff.
-
03
Maintained
Documentation, readiness observations, lifecycle conditions, and operational recommendations remain active beyond the immediate ticket.
-
04
Prepared
The next issue or decision can begin with more context, clearer ownership, and fewer loose ends to reconstruct.
Clear by design
Greater ownership isn’t unlimited authority or unlimited labor.
TotalTech carries more operational responsibility while preserving the line between routine service, business authority, separately planned change, formal continuity, and incident-response work. That clarity protects both the relationship and the outcome.
- The active CoreTech operating role across the existing supported environment
- Preferential relative priority and greater issue ownership within the tier model
- Stronger documentation, credential discipline, and continuity of operating context
- Greater proactive readiness, lifecycle attention, operational recommendations, vendor coordination, and follow-through
- Business, financial, strategic, and executive decision authority
- Projects, implementations, migrations, and material or planned changes unless separately authorized
- Formal business-continuity or disaster-recovery planning and guaranteed recovery outcomes
- Full incident-response execution, forensics, legal or regulatory response, and services beyond the authorized supported role
One foundation · three operating roles
Choose how much of the operating load MGI carries.
Every tier begins with the same baseline cybersecurity posture. The meaningful difference is what happens after something needs attention.

Questions buyers ask about TotalTech.
Clear operating roles make it easier to compare real responsibility — not just tool names and checkmarks.
What does TotalTech add beyond CoreTech?+
CoreTech carries routine hands-on support and administration. TotalTech adds greater relative priority, stronger documentation and credential discipline, more proactive readiness and lifecycle attention, deeper vendor coordination, operational recommendations, and greater continuity of operating context and follow-through.
Does TotalTech automatically include after-hours or emergency response?+
No. TotalTech’s greater relative priority doesn’t by itself create an after-hours, emergency-response, or guaranteed-availability entitlement. Any such treatment remains separately governed and must be expressly established in the Applicable Order.
Does TotalTech include vCIO or executive technology strategy?+
No automatic executive-strategy or vCIO inclusion is represented by this page. TotalTech may provide operational recommendations and decision support within its role, while executive strategy, formal planning, and separately scoped advisory work remain distinct unless expressly included in the Applicable Order.
Does higher priority guarantee a response or resolution time?+
No. TotalTech receives greater relative priority than lower tiers within MGI’s operating model, but this isn’t a guaranteed response, resolution, availability, prevention, or recovery commitment unless a specific written term expressly says otherwise.
Does TotalTech include full incident response or disaster recovery?+
No. MGI may identify, triage, communicate, coordinate, and escalate supported conditions within the authorized role. Formal incident-response execution, forensics, legal or regulatory work, business-continuity planning, disaster-recovery projects, and guaranteed recovery outcomes remain separately evaluated and authorized.
